Event Controller (temporary position)

Your Responsibilities

As an Event Controller, you will work closely with the business and have a key role in driving analyses, following up on results, and providing insights that strengthen the business. You will collaborate with several departments and become an important partner in both operational and strategic decisions. You will work with:

• Analysis and follow-up of results, key figures, and margins
• Reporting of budgets and forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Delivery of financial reports to the parent company in Belgium
• Ad hoc analyses and decision support for management and operations
• Business support
• Working closely with the event, marketing, and sales organization
• Contributing insights that improve profitability and efficiency
• Challenging and supporting the business in financial matters
• Identifying areas for improvement and driving the development of processes

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in finance and three to five years of experience in similar roles. You are confident in analysis, reporting, and financial processes, and you thrive in a role where you can combine structure with business acumen. You are someone who enjoys working closely with the business, who dares to challenge, and who sees the big picture. The role requires both accuracy and flexibility — you seamlessly switch between detailed analysis and strategic reasoning.

Success Factors

• Post-secondary education in finance
• At least 3-5 years of experience in controlling or a similar role
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Good system proficiency; experience with Business Central is a plus
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience from a fast-paced or project-intensive environment is a plus
